Demi Lovato To Perform In Chile
Singer-actress Demi Lovato will appear this February at the Iquique Festival in Chile, where she will share the stage with colombian pop star Juanes. This will be the 19-year-old singer's third appearance in Chile, where in 2009 she sang for the "Jones Brothers", an American boy band, and performed solo in May 2010. The contest kicks off February 2 with performances by a trio Jorge Villamizar and Cuba's Lena Burke.
Chilean singer EI Gitano and reggae star Tito EI Bambino will also perform February 4, while the next day, the last day of the festival, will feature Chilean balladeer Myriam Hernandez and Mexico's Juan Gabriel.
Lovato, of Mexican, Irish and Italian descent starred as Allison "Sonny" Munroe on Disney Channel's children's sitcom "Sonny With A Chance" in 2009 and 2010. She later underwent for and eating disorder.
